hubsell segments can be understood as a container for data, no matter if you source it yourself from LinkedIn, import it via a CSV file or request it from hubsell. In this article we want to take a closer look at the latter method.
- go to data > segments
- click create a new segment
- name it accordingly
- select type provider sourced
- choose the amount of prospects you want to be sourced
- click next
So far, so good. Now you'll be forwarded to the segment criteria page, where you'll be asked to define the research criteria for your request.
By defining your research criteria, you will instruct hubsell's research team on the group of prospects you want us to source. Following you will find a brief explanation of the criteria:

The economic sector which you want us to source prospects from. You can find a complete listing of all available industries in here
The number of employees working for a company, ranging from self-employed to 10.000+.
Please note, that larger companies typically employ a higher amount of decision makers relevant for your outreach strategy, while smaller companies typically employ a smaller amount of decision makers and thus it might be advisable to adjust the amount of prospects sourced for your segment accordingly.
